Seven Months Already?

Holy-cow, Rhys is seven months old today! It's true what "they" say-It goes by so fast! Enjoy theses cute pics of Rhys. For those of you that don't know, the helmet is a molding helmet and right now it's shaping Rhys's head. He has a flat spot on the left side, so it's being fixed.

Rhys had 7-month professional pictures taken with Brittany Klier! His usual smiling self was nowhere to be found. I have never seen a baby less interested! Thankfully Brittany captured the few rare smiles he graced us with!

Splish-Splash Rhys is Takin' A Bath!

One of Rhys's favorite things is taking a bath! It has become part of his bedtime routine. We can't wait for summer to come so we can go to the park and play at the splash deck!

6 Months Old!

I can't believe my baby boy is half a year old! Before I know it he will be going off to college.

As of today Rhys 19 pounds & 11 ounces, 27 inches long!








Milestones Rhys has met...

Holds head steady when sitting
Reaches for and grasps objects
Helps hold bottle during feeding
Explores by mouthing and banging objects
Sits independently for 30 seconds
Opens mouth for spoon (getting there)
Babbles and makes sing-song sounds (dose screeching count?)
Knows familiar faces
Rolls front-to-back (getting there)
Rolls back-to-front (sometimes)
Laughs and squeals (he has the laughing part down)
Transfer objects from one hand to the other
Support whole weight on legs when held upright
Use voice to express joy and displeasure
Respond to own name
Struggle to get objects that are out of reach
Enjoy playing peek-a-boo
Show an interest in mirror images (can we say narcissist?)
Reach for object with hand (he really loves earings and hair)
